android 5.0 lolipopGoogle officially announced Android 5.0 L recently, Calling it Android “L” which we believe is Lollipop, and if you lucky enough see the list of devices listed at the bottom of this posts, you will be able to updated to Android 5.0 in future. The new release of Android will feature various performance improvements, looks and design and animation as well enhanced notifications.

Lets see quickly what are the new features and whats new in Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Material Design:

Android 5.0 looks cleaner, more fluid interface with 3D shadows, 3D animations and smoother transitions. Google calls it a “bold, colorful and responsive UI design.

 

Enhanced Notifications:

Enhanched notification  Android LPerhaps the notification screen is the second thing we noticed after the design there are lot of changes in the notification panel. Notifications can be seen from the lock screen, if you take a Swipe down you will see expanded notifications and another swipe down lets you see quick settings.

 

Android Runtime (ART):

android Runtime ART replaces Dalvik, which brings improvements in performance, garbage collection, applications debugging and profiling,cross platform support, increased addressable memory space.

 

Improve Battery:

The new improve battery history gives you better insight into how your battery is being used up and even tells you how much time is left before your phone dies and how long time it will take to get full while you are charging, It also comes with with a power saver mode to save battery.

 

Do Not disturb mode:

You can enable do not disturb mode if you are in a meeting or watching a movie right at the start screen, you can set temporary do not disturb based on amount of time you like your phone not to bother you, and after the hour is completed it will get back to normal automatically.
